So I exhort the elders among you, as a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, as well as a partaker in the glory that is going to be revealed: shepherd the flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but willingly, as God would have you; not for shameful gain, but eagerly; not domineering over those in your charge, but being examples to the flock. - 1 Peter 5:1-3

PASTOR
Since November 2024, Garrett has served as the Lead Pastor at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Paulding, Ohio. He is committed to the faithful preaching of Scripture, to prayer, and to shepherding the flock through relational discipleship. He is an ACBC Certified Biblical Counselor and completed his first year of formal seminary training in 2024. He previously served on staff at King’s Cross Church in Defiance, Ohio as the Director of Ministry Operations and as a pastoral resident. He grew up in the Paulding area and worked as a commercial beekeeper in the family business for over ten years. He is joined in ministry with his wife Rachel and their two children.
