OUR MISSION
EMMANUEL IS A FAMILY OF BELIEVERS WHO SEEK TO LOVE GOD, EACH OTHER, AND THE WORLD IN JESUS’ NAME.
We believe that through Jesus Christ, we can have a real, genuine relationship with God. In God’s Word (the Bible) we can find direction, answers for life and help in building right relationships with other people. That’s why everything we do at Emmanuel Baptist Church is focused on sharing the hope that we have in Jesus Christ and proclaiming the life-changing truths of God’s Word.
WE STRIVE TO BE BIBLICAL, AUTHENTIC AND RELEVANT.
We are Biblical.
We embrace the Bible as the Word of God and are committed to proclaiming its life-changing truths. We desire to honor God by
obeying His Word in every area of our lives.
We are Authentic.
We strive to be genuine in our love for one another and others, as we live out our lives in authentic Christian community.
We are Relevant.
We proclaim the unchanging gospel of Jesus Christ, knowing that it is the vital message of hope for everyone today.
WE ARE AN INDEPENDENT CHURCH (from a Baptist tradition). Being an independent church means that we are an autonomous church, governed by the Word of God and led, fed, and protected by our leaders, not an outside organization.
